BobCat 753 – CYLINDER (LIFT) – Checking

Lower the lift arms. Stop the engine. Pull up on the lift arm by-pass control. Raise the seat bar.

Check only one cylinder at a time.

Disconnect the hose (Item 1) [Figure 20-20-1] from the lift cylinder rod end port to allow access to the hose (Item
2) [Figure 20-20-1].

Disconnect the hose (Item 2) [Figure 20-20-1] from the lift cylinder base end port.

Install a plug in the hose (Item 1) [Figure 20-20-2] and tighten.

Connect the hose (Item 2) [Figure 20-20-2] to the lift cylinder rod end port.

Engage the parking brake. Lower the seat bar. Start the engine. Press the PRESS TO OPERATE BUTTON. Push
the top (toe) of the lift pedal or move left hand lever towards the operator.

If there is any leakage from the base end cylinder port (Item 3) [Figure 20-20-2], remove the lift cylinder for
repair.

Repeat the procedure to check the other lift cylinder.
